Emerald Smoke Launches Kids MMA Program With Free Class
Midwest’s Premier Fight Sport Club Introduces Children to Benefits and Philosophy of Mixed Martial Arts
What: Emerald Smoke MMA and Fitness, the Midwest’s premier fight sport club and dedicated Everlast MMA training center, launches an MMA program specially designed for children. First-timers are invited to try a free class in the Emerald Smoke Kids Program. Those who join the program can choose to advance through the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu belt system.
Who: Children ages 8 to 15 are invited to participate and can choose to advance through the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu belt system. Beginners encouraged!
Why: To give children the opportunity to participate in a program they can trust and feel good about all in a safe environment.
Who Should Attend: Anyone who knows a child who would benefit from:
- Self-discipline
- Confidence
- Self-respect and respect for others
- Better listening and direction-following skills
- The ability to defend themselves if ever necessary
- The Emerald Smoke philosophy that knowing how to fight is the best way to not have to fight at all
When: Classes are held every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 3:30 p.m. and 4:15 p.m. Each 45-minute class is broken out into two age groups: 8-12 and 13-15 years old.
